Why is OneHousing Refusing to Refund My Overpaid Service Charge - Flower & Dean Estate
I have received the finalised service charge account for 3 fiscal years starting from 2019/20 to 2021/22. Altogether, I have overpaid £1,400, but the Head of Income is refusing to refund my money and wants to offset this against the future years service charge. Based on the current annual service charge that I am paying it will take over 5.4 years for the overpaid service charge to be fully utilised. I had suggested compromised whereby my overpaid service charge money can be transferred to my rent account so that it can be offset against the future rent charge but this too was ignored without providing a reason.
