How do I access my gas and electric meters?
If your meter is not located inside your home or in an individual casing outside the property, it will be in a meter cupboard inside the communal areas of the building.
Some communal cupboards have landlord equipment located inside as well as individual flat meters, so we may implement restricted access that requires us to provide you with access rather than a key. In other cases where your meter is in a dedicated cupboard, we will be able to provide you with a key for access as and when you require it.
Please note that all communal area cupboards are to be kept clear of personal items as they present a fire safety hazard and that these areas are routinely checked and cleared if items are left in those spaces.
Can I join my Property Manager on an estate inspection?
We like to conduct joint estate inspections with residents as this helps us to get a greater understanding of concerns that residents might have about the community they live in.
If you would like to join your Property Manager on an estate inspection, please contact us on 0300 123 9966 or email ask@onehousing.co.uk so that we can agree a suitable date and time to meet with you.
